Welcome! And the fuck is this project? A deep dive into my favs.

Hello! So you might be asking, what in the world is this blog? Fashion blogs? Been there, done that. Why should I pay attention to this one?

Well, this is where I get to nerd out about cool clothes and potentially my attempts at deconstructing their creation process and making them for myself. Fashion and cool and wacky clothes should be for everyone. That's my opinion.

I've many times rejected getting a job in the fashion industry because I don't want that life for myself. But I've always loved the visual and craft of fashion. To the techniques, the runways to the many many collections.

Note: I cover collections I'm interested in. If I don't cover a collection/designer/brand, I either don't know it(Reach out and tell me about the new or old stuff, love my vintage) or don't care about it. It's all opinions.

So before I show y'all some of my fav pieces and collections of all time. I want to let y'all know that what I learned about fashion, meager as it may be. I learned from some really interesting teachers and sources. Zoe Hong, Violet Chacki's fashion runway talks(plus the ones with Gottmik), Safiya Nygaard's videos, Sadaboutchiffon's accounts. I don't always agree with their views but it's interesting nonetheless to learn and form my own tastes and opinions. Also just because I like a piece of clothing, does not mean I agree with their creators shitty opinions. Looking at you Coco Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld and Dolce and Gabbana. Separation of art and artist. And a great reason to rip the designs off and make them yourself!!

And to answer the un-asked question, yes I'm a furry, OwO. To business!

Now let's gather my dream closet shall we? XD

Roberto Cavalli Fall/Winter RTW (Ready-To-Wear) 2019

This collection, holy shit, this collection. Every piece in my closet now. If not the real thing, I'm making them myself. This collection I think made me get the concept of fashion. It's cool clothes, concepts twisted and reinterpreted to something that challenges you and catches your eye. If someone doesn't like it? Doesn't matter, dress for yourself. The multicolour abstracted tiger stripes, the techwear influenced dresses and skirts, the vibrancy of the colours!!! Gorgeous.

And thus y'all learn a bit about my style. Loud and bombastic, vibrancy kicked up to max. Does that mean anything loud and vibrant I automatically love? Fuck no.

Samurai techwear chic, need I say more? The reinterpretations of the obi belt, samurai armor reintrepeted in puffer techniques and embroidery. The orange and greyish teal combo? Stunning. Entire collection, my closet now please.

How crazy, his final collection and my introduction to him. Everything, just everything is spectacular and crazy. Entire collection into my closet request has been sent. Is it going to be difficult to style the full vintage tie catsuit? Yes, but that's a worthy challenge I'm down to take on. Some of the styling here isn't to my taste, but I do not care, this is a really good comprehensive encyclopedia of JPG's history and house codes and aesthetics. I extrapolated a lot of house codes from this collection and it was great guide to me to their history. Love my blues

And I think these 3 are a good intro to me for now! Probably gonna do a part 2 with Alexander Mcqueen at Givenchy or RTW or his main couture line, Claude Montana, Elsa Schiaparelli, Dilara Findikoglu, Raf Simon's Dior, Jacques Griffe and probably more

For now, welcome to the madness!

Signed,
Bun
